Nokia Launches New Mobiles in the N-series

“The Nokia N95 8GB opens up a wealth of exciting options for film fans as they can now watch world-class movies like Spider-Man 3 whenever they want, wherever they want. Pre-loading a film with such fantastic special effects truly shows off the device’s advanced capabilities. With its ground-breaking features, users can now fully appreciate the meaning of entertainment on-the-go,” Ilkka Raiskinen, senior vice president of multimedia experiences at Nokia, remarked in a statement.

The N95 8GB features an integrated location mapping GPS chip, a 5 megapixel camera, built-in A-GPS, WLAN, HSDPA and an innovative 2-way slide. In addition, the N95 8GB mobile phone allows users to create their own movies, and share the movies with others through transfer to PC functions which enable uploads to their social networking profiles and other online sites. Raiskinen pointed out that with its expanded memory, N95 8GB offers up to 20 hours of video or up to 6000 songs.

The N81 features a music player and gaming console, and is pre-loaded with 10 English music videos, Bollywood and Hollywood songs and is also equipped with 10 comedy scenes from Bollywood movies across genres.

In addition, the N81 model features Assisted-Global Positioning System (A-GPS) for navigation. “This N81 is a quad-band GSM phone that supports3G , Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0. It runs Symbian (News - Alert) OS with Nokia’s S60 user interface and weighs just 4.9 oz,” informed Raiskinen.
