new Blackberry Curve (8300)
After two solid years of use, my Sony Ericsson Z200 has seen better days. I’ve been thinking about taking the plunge and getting a smart phone. Someone recently recommended to me Research in Motion’s new Blackberry Curve (8300), in case I don’t want to go to the full PDA phone route.
The Curve get my attention because it has a full QWERTY keyboard, unlike the recently released Blackberry Pearl. It also has a 2 megapixel camera and a media player, and is much smaller than standard PDA phones. However, it doesn’t have Wi-Fi or 3G, so you’ll have to rely on the quad-band GSM and EDGE for voice and data.
I’m not quite ready to make the plunge with the Blackberry Curve, which is ok because it won’t be available from Cingular for another few weeks. More information on pricing information is coming as well.
