Sony Ericsson and Japan’s NTT Docomo is launching the So703i mobile phone that includes a slot for replaceable scented sheets for a pleasant smell.

There are up to 11 different scents available for the phone. What does this mean? Maybe we’ll see more designer cell phones with their own unique scent.

This personalization is interesting indeed, illustrating Japan’s originality when it comes to innovation and differentiation.
